Architect (5 Years Experience)

At Saharchitects, we are a full service, boutique architectural practice specialised in residential buildings. We believe architecture holds the potential to positively transform the way people live. We are searching for a highly motivated, ambitious and dynamic architect to join us in creating elegant and thoughtfully designed homes for our clients.

This position will be multifaceted though mainly focused on the design of technical details and preparing tender documents ( bordereau, cahiers des charges, … ), with an interest in the design and detailing of built-in furniture and interior architecture for high-end residential projects. 

As an applicant for this position, you should demonstrate high-level knowledge of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details and construction techniques. You are able to enrich design concepts through technical strategies and effectively use appropriate tools to design and document at all project phases.

You manage time and workload to meet project task deadlines and commitments with periodic interaction within a small team and under direction of a project leader while sharing knowledge and coordinating information with external consultants. You contribute to team effort through the spirit of cooperation. 

You are highly organised, autonomous, versatile and can prioritise different projects at once. You have no problem meeting deadlines and are capable of communicating effectively with clients and working in a team. 

Core skills: 

• Possessing a Master’s degree in architecture
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an architecture office
• Demonstrating proficiency in Vectorworks (or ArchiCAD ), in 3D
• Good knowledge of the standards and regulations in Luxembourg
• Fluent in English and French, Working proficiency in German or Luxembourgish will be considered as an advantage
