Sahar Azari was born in Tehran. Growing up during a time of war and economic hardship, she learned that by turning challenges into opportunities she could live a happy life. She loved mathematics and with an analytical approach to solving problems, the field of architecture became her passion.

She studied architecture at the internationally recognized National University of Tehran achieving her Master of Architecture degree in 2003. The last two years of her studies were spent traveling between Iran and Luxembourg where her husband had moved to further his career.

In 2004, she started work as an architect for Arttek in Mersch. She learned how to create ecological architecture made from natural materials. But it was her first project of her own that transformed her awareness of how much thoughtful design could positively affect a person’s well-being and the way they live. She is convinced that she can help others find happiness through the architectural design of their homes.
